Kit Registration Advice
Hello,
I am considering purchasing a partially built Kit aircraft from an individual. The kit has not been registered with the FAA as of yet. The owner has kit build software and has documented the build thus far very well. The level of completion is less than a factory “quick build” version of the kit. What registration issues will I face, and please pass along any advice you may have. I’m an EAA member working on the “Bucket List”. Please Help!

You shouldn’t have any issues. It’s a normal build.

Just be sure you have bills of sale that go back to original purchase from the factory.
