It’s easier to now join our club!
As discussed in our meeting today at Propwash (16x), we have added a new feature to the website. Now prospective new members have 3 options for ways to join the club. All three boil down to the same idea, which is to provide them with the means to fill out the very simple membership application and get it to the right person.
This week we uploaded the .pdf form of the actual application. Tonight, I finally created a simple, yet effective form that allows new members to fill out their information and submit it online.
This will get applications to us faster, and delay the burden of having to print one out, fill it out, and mail or bring to the meeting. We aren’t the IRS, so lets avoid paperwork!
There is also a “tentative” decision to open a paypal account and start accepting membership payments and dues via that terminal system. We are awaiting final approval from the board.
Finally, here’s my submission for membership. Now I just have to remember to bring my 35 dollars to the next meeting!
