(EFD), The 27th Annual Wings Over Houston Airshow takes flight Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 at Ellington Airport with thrilling aerial performances, aerobatics and demonstrations. The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will captivate audiences with an aerial ballet of high-speed jet flight featuring dozens of formation passes. This year’s show welcomes many new additions to the legendary event. Making its first appearance at the Wings Over Houston Airshow, the Air Force’s newest fighter aircraft, F-22 Raptor, will take to the skies with its precision aerial maneuvers. Also new this year is the Red Bull Motorsport Teams of Kirby Chambliss, in his Zivko Edge 540, and Chuck Aaron, the only civilian pilot to be licensed in the U.S. to perform helicopter aerobatics. Aaron will keep audiences on the edge of their seats with his back flips, 360-degree rolls and a heart stopping tumble, called the Chuckcilvak. In addition to new aircraft, the Red Bull Air Force Parachute Team will take to the skies in their winged jump suits as they approach the crowd at Ellington Airport.
